  • Brighton & Hove Albion are unbeaten in their last three Premier League meetings with Liverpool (W1 D2). However, the Reds have not lost in eight top-flight trips to Brighton (W4 D4), a record for the most away games without losing against a particular opponent.
  • Brighton have just one win from their last nine games in all competitions and have suffered four consecutive Premier League defeats. They could lose five top-flight fixtures in a row for the first time since May 1982. The Seagulls have scored once and conceded nine in their last four matches.
  • Liverpool are on a seven-game winning run in the Premier League, scoring 19 goals and conceding twice. The Reds are two goals shy of becoming the second club to score 2,000 in the Premier League, emulating Manchester United.
  • Neal Maupay is one goal away from overtaking Glenn Murray as Brighton’s record Premier League scorer with 27 goals.
  • Mohamed Salah has been involved in ten goals in nine Premier League appearances against Brighton, averaging a goal or an assist every 75 minutes. Salah needs one goal to reach 20 in the Premier League for the fourth time in his career.

  • Burnley are unbeaten in six league meetings (W4, D2) and have five wins in a row against Brentford in all competitions.
  • Brentford have won just once in their last nine games against Burnley (D2, L6).
  • The Clarets could complete a league double over Brentford for just the second time in their history.
  • Brentford’s 3-1 win at Norwich ended a run of nine games without victory and they are aiming to secure consecutive Premier League wins for the first time.
  • Thomas Frank’s side have managed just two clean sheets in their last 23 top-flight fixtures, after keeping three in their first five.
  • Christian Eriksen has failed to score or assist a goal in seven Premier League starts against Burnley.
  • Ivan Toney has 93 goals in all competitions since the start of 2018-19 – only Mohamed Salah and Harry Kane have scored more for English clubs in that time.
  • Burnley have lost two league matches in a row after one defeat in their previous seven (W2, D4).
  • The six goals conceded by Sean Dyche’s side in those two losses all came in the second half. However, the Clarets could equal a club Premier League record of four successive away games without defeat.
  • The clarets are unbeaten in four Premier League trips to London, their best run of form in the capital since they went eight undefeated between August 1965 and December 1966.
  • Maxwel Cornet has failed to score in six Premier League appearances since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations.

  • Manchester United could win three consecutive league games against Tottenham for the first time since a run of four between April 2009 and October 2010.
  • Spurs have suffered 37 Premier League defeats to Manchester United – no side has beaten them more in the division.
  • All four of Tottenham’s Premier League wins at Old Trafford have come in their past nine visits, including by 6-1 last season.
  • United have gone three games without a win in all competitions (D2, L1), their worst run since they went six without victory between September and October 2019.
  • Manchester United have won four of their seven home league matches under Ralf Rangnick (D2, L1).
  • A win on Saturday would ensure Manchester United become the first club to reach 400 home Premier League victories.
  • Cristiano Ronaldo has four goals and three assists in his last five Premier League appearances against Tottenham.
  • Ronaldo has also scored in each of his last six games against Spurs, for both Real Madrid and Manchester United.
  • Tottenham have won four of their last six Premier League away games.
  • Spurs have a record of seven wins and seven defeats from 14 matches in 2022.
  • Antonio Conte has four wins from his six meetings with Manchester United, but has lost on both visits to Old Trafford.
  • Harry Kane has scored 93 times in 137 Premier League away games and another goal would see him equal Wayne Rooney as the competition’s leading away scorer.
  • Kane has three goals and two assists in his last three top-flight appearances at Old Trafford.

  • Leeds won the reverse fixture 2-1 and are looking to complete the league double over Norwich for the first time since 1980-81.
  • Norwich won 3-1 in the Championship three years ago in the most recent league meeting at Elland Road. They have never won consecutive away league visits to Leeds.
  • Leeds are hosting Norwich in a Premier League match for the first time since a 2-1 victory in May 1995.
  • Leeds have equalled the club record of six successive league defeats, failing to score in any of the last four.
  • They have only had one longer run of games without a goal: six from January to March 1982 in the top flight.
  • The Whites have conceded 44 goals in their past 14 league fixtures, failing to keep a clean sheet during that period.
  • Jesse Marsch is only the second Leeds manager to lose his first two Premier League matches in charge; George Graham started with three defeats in 1996.
  • Leeds have won six of their seven Premier League games against promoted sides since returning to the top flight last season, with the exception being a 2-2 draw with Brentford in December.
  • Patrick Bamford is one short of 100 career league goals. He has been involved in seven goals in five Premier League appearances against promoted sides for Leeds, scoring four and assisting three.

  • Everton have lost just one of their past 10 home league games against Wolves (W6, D3), a 3-1 defeat in February 2019.
  • Wolves can complete the league double over Everton for the first time since 1973.
  • Everton’s tally of 22 points is their lowest at this stage of a top-flight season in the club’s history.
  • The Toffees have lost their last three Premier League matches by an aggregate score of 0-8. It is their longest run of defeats without scoring since a six-game sequence between August and October in 2005.
  • They have failed to register a shot on target in two of their last three league fixtures. The Toffees had recorded at least one effort on target in each of their previous 80 league matches.
  • Everton have lost a league-high 13 home games since the start of 2021.
  • Alex Iwobi has scored a career-best three Premier League goals versus Wolves, with all three coming in his past four appearances against them.
  • Wolves have lost consecutive Premier League away games, as many as in their previous 11.
  • Each of Wolves’ last three league away goals have come within the opening 20 minutes.

  • Chelsea have won eight of the past 10 league meetings, including the last three in a row. They last won more consecutively against the Magpies in the league between April 1957 and September 1958.
  • Newcastle’s only win in their last 27 league games at Stamford Bridge was by 2-0 in May 2012.
  • The Blues have won each of their subsequent eight top-flight home games against the Magpies.
  • Chelsea are unbeaten in nine home league matches since a 1-0 loss against Manchester City in September (W4, D5). However, the Blues have kept just two clean sheets in those games, having registered nine in their first 13 under Thomas Tuchel.
  • They are on a run of four Premier League wins in a row.
  • The Blues are unbeaten in their last 34 home league games played in March since a 4-2 loss against Sunderland in 2001 (W29, D5).
  • They are also undefeated in all seven of their league fixtures played on Sundays this season (W4, D3).
  • Newcastle are on a nine-game unbeaten run in the Premier League (W6, D3).
  • Only Liverpool have won more top-flight points in 2022 than the 20 by Newcastle prior to the weekend.
  • They have lost 23 of their last 24 Premier League away games against sides starting the day in the top three of the table, with the exception being a 4-2 victory at Leicester City in May 2021.
  • The 18 headed goals scored by Chris Wood in the Premier League since the start of the 2017-18 season is the joint most of any player along with Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

  • Southampton are unbeaten in six Premier League games with Watford, winning the last three in a row.
  • Saints have only lost two of the 13 Premier League meetings (W6, D5).
  • Watford have won just one of their last nine away games against Southampton in the top flight (D2, L6).
  • Southampton have suffered back-to-back defeats, after losing just once in their previous 13 games in all competitions (W8, D4).
  • Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side have dropped 46 points from winning positions since the start of last season, more than any other side.
  • The Saints have lost just three of their past 39 Premier League home fixtures against newly promoted clubs (W26, D10).
  • Che Adams could become the second Southampton player to score in five consecutive Premier League appearances against promoted sides, emulating Matt Le Tissier between December 1993 and October 1994.
  • Watford have won just once in 17 games in all competitions (D3, L13).
  • They have conceded 11 goals in their last four Premier League matches.
  • The Hornets have suffered seven consecutive Premier League defeats on a Sunday, including four this season.
  • Roy Hodgson has won three of his 11 Premier League meetings with Southampton (D2, L6).

  • West Ham are on a three-match winning streak in this fixture, their longest since a run of six between 1964 and 1967.
  • Aston Villa are winless in six Premier League away games against the Hammers, failing to score in four of them, since a 2-1 victory in April 2011 (D3, L3).
  • West Ham can lose four consecutive matches in all competitions for the first time since a run of five from March to April 2017.
  • They have alternated between not winning and winning in their past eight Premier League home games, beating Wolves 1-0 last time out at the London Stadium. West Ham last earned back-to-back home league victories in October and November.
  • The Hammers are one of just two sides – along with Liverpool – to have scored in all of their Premier League home fixtures this season.
  • They have equalled the club Premier League record of scoring in 15 successive home games. The last time they had a longer streak was 27 matches from October 1985 to January 1987.
  • Michail Antonio could go nine Premier League appearances without a goal for the first time since November 2019 to February 2020.
  • David Moyes is unbeaten in 11 Premier League matches as a manager versus Aston Villa since Everton’s 1-0 defeat at Villa Park in August 2010.
  • Villa have won three consecutive Premier League games without conceding for the first time since a run of four in December 2009 under Martin O’Neill.
  • They have only once managed four top-flight wins in a row since the beginning of the 2010-11 season, from September to October 2020.
  • Aston Villa have lost five of their six Sunday matches in the Premier League this season, with the exception being a 2-1 home win against Leicester in December.
  • Philippe Coutinho has provided four goals and three assists in eight appearances for Villa.
  • Tyrone Mings celebrates his 29th birthday on the day of this match.

  • Arsenal won the reverse fixture 2-0 and are looking to complete a league double over Leicester for the first time in six seasons.
  • However, Leicester could win back-to-back away league games against the Gunners for the first time. Last season’s 1-0 victory ended their 23-match winless league run away to Arsenal.
  • Arsenal have won eight of their past 10 games in the Premier League (D1, L1).
  • The 25 points they have accrued during that period is the joint-most in the division, alongside Manchester City.
  • The Gunners could become the first team to win five consecutive Premier League matches by a one-goal margin since Birmingham City in November and December 2009.
  • Mikel Arteta’s side have scored 22 Premier League goals by players aged 21 or under this season, twice as many as next-best Crystal Palace.
  • Bukayo Saka has been directly involved in nine goals in Arsenal’s last 10 league games, scoring six and setting up three.
  • Leicester have won successive league matches for just the second time this season, keeping consecutive clean sheets for the first time in 13 months.
  • They haven’t earned three Premier League wins in a row since January 2021.
  • Victory at Burnley in their most recent away fixture ended a run of four straight league defeats, and no win in six, on the road.
  • Patson Daka failed to score in 12 of his 13 away appearances for Leicester in all competitions. The exception was his four-goal haul in a 4-3 win at Spartak Moscow in the Europa League in October.

Monday, 14th March 2022

  • Following their 2-0 win at Etihad Stadium in October, Crystal Palace are looking to complete the league double over Manchester City for the first time since 1987-88, when both teams were in the second tier.
  • City have won five of their last six Premier League away games against Crystal Palace (D1), with their last defeat at Selhurst Park coming in a Monday night game in April 2015.
  • The Eagles have failed to score in six of their 11 Premier League matches against City at Selhurst Park (55%). Among sides they have faced at least 10 times at home in the competition, they have only failed to score in a higher percentage against Manchester United (58% – 7/12).
  • Kevin de Bruyne has assisted seven goals against Crystal Palace in the Premier League, only registering more against Southampton (8) in the competition. The Belgian’s first ever appearance for City came at Selhurst Park in September 2015, coming off the bench in a 1-0 win under Manuel Pellegrini.
  • Palace are one of only two teams to beat Manchester City in the Premier League this season, after a memorable trip to the Etihad in October.
  • After three wins in their last four, Palace are on a high coming into the latest clash, with victory at Molineux over Wolves one of the finest displays of the season.
